Tunnel de la Paix /Arts²
Location of the work: Croix-Rouge Tunnel, 7000 Mons
The Drawing Studio at Arts2 (an Arts academy in Mons) decided to tackle this long tunnel that connects the city and the Champ de Mars. Like other places that bear the same name, the Champs de Mars in Mons was used for military activities. So the students decided to create their fresco on the theme of peace. Twenty students are sharing their vision of peace with you in 2023.
They were assisted by Piet Rodriguez, a Belgian artist well known for his monumental frescoes.
