The fresco was designed by Poni (Hilda Palafox is her real name), an internationally renowned Mexican artist, and has taken up residence on the gable of the Yves Rocher facade, in the Piétonnier. This artist, who is illustrating herself for the first time in Belgium, combines fluidity, simplicity and poetic aesthetics. She usually draws women without pupils to inspire people to travel. On this wall in Mons, she has erected one of these women with the city’s hill in the background.
