A word from the artist:
The glassblower is a work that I created in Mons.
I did, in fact, attempt to put a person who is performing their work in the foreground, who is obviously Moroccan and is noticeable by his clothing, which reflects my origins and which is a common thread in my work.
I chose a vibrant palette for the colours to create a contrast between the realistic person and the graphic background.
