Right in the heart of the historic centre of Mons, not far from the Grand-Place, L’Art des Mets welcomes you into its modern, quiet, peaceful atmosphere, where you’re bound to feel at ease. The owners, Guy-Laurent and Frédéric, and Denis, their Head Waiter, will carefully and cheerfully guide through your tasting experience, guaranteeing a simple yet welcoming experience. They are there to introduce you to the culinary creations of the chef, Serge Mautret, who serves original, contemporary food that can sometimes be slightly daring, and even surprising, playing with textures and flavours and only using quality ingredients. The menu changes regularly according to his inspiration, the seasons and the availability of fresh ingredients at the market. The wine list boasts a fantastic selection of wines from France and further afield… for all tastes, and all budgets … Open from Monday to Friday, except on Tuesday, from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM and from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM, on Saturdays from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM and from 6:30 PM to 11:00 PM, and on Sundays from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM.
