“Bienvenue Vélo” label
Join “Bienvenue Vélo”!
Do you want to welcome more cyclists to your establishment?
The “Bienvenue Vélo” (Bike friendly) concept has been devised for you!
Revitalising and boosting the quality of the accommodation to meet this new cycle network need is a major asset.
The label “Bienvenue Vélo” is synonymous with providing a welcome, services and equipment adapted to the specific needs and expectations of touring cyclists and provides you with improved visibility.
The concept of “Bienvenue Vélo” was initiated in 2012 by 3 Tourist Offices (Condroz Famenne, Pays Huy- Meuse-Condroz and Vallées de la Burdinale & Mehaigne) in collaboration with the Federation of Gites for Wallonia. This initiative is supported by the Federation of Campsites for Wallonia, Accueil Champêtre en Wallonie, ... Nearly 200 operators in more than 22 tourist offices throughout the region of Wallonia are already members. The label “Bienvenue Vélo” is the benchmark in terms of welcoming cyclists to Wallonia, which is the reason why the Tourist Office for the City of Mons has opted to promote it and thus allow you to join it.
You can join if you are:
➢ a tourist accommodation recognised by the CGT: gite, bed and breakfast, guest house, furnished holiday home, campsite, hotel establishment
➢ an eating establishment: restaurant, brasserie, café, local bistro, local gastronomy establishment
➢ a tourist organisation: tourist office, Tourist Board, tourist sites.
