MuseumLab is an experimental space that supports the development of technological prototypes for use in museums. In this retrospective, a selection of projects is presented through a series of workshops and testing devices. MuseumLab is an initiative organised by the City of Mons Museum Centre with support from the ERDF (European Regional Development Fund).

Drive away the henchmen invading the paintings! A visual and sound escape game, this prototype from Arteam Interactive was developed through research into an innovative technology combining sound, image and geolocation.

This immersive interactive experience immerses you in the heart of artist Niki de Saint Phalle’s creative process. An incredible prototype developed by the company Hovertone and tested at the BAM in 2018 as part of an exhibition devoted to the artist.

MILÉNA TRIVIER
Latent walk lets you interact with artificial intelligence and together create an ephemeral work of plant life inspired by the work of English botanist Mary Delany. A sensitive and poetic installation, it questions the relationship between creation and artificial intelligence.
