21/10 to 23/10: Weekend museum night
When you think of a weekend away with friends, exciting discoveries, quaint corners and cafés, breathtaking art exhibitions and enjoyable encounters with the people from the region will undoubtedly come to mind.
This is exactly what the “Miróbolous” weekend offers. It starts with the “Nuit des Musées” (The Museums Night), a museum experience certainly like no other you have ever seen before.
The following day starts with sports. You will take part in an introduction to golf, and then you will embark on the discovery of Mons and the local region; fun is guaranteed as you discover the Grand-Hornu, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Sunday will be just as exciting and you will finally have the opportunity to discover the exhibition of the famous artist Joan Miró, followed by an aperitif and a show on the terrace of the museum. The weekend will be complete with an exciting treasure hunt through Mons, using the Totemus app, fun for explorers of all ages.
