When you think of a weekend away with friends, exciting discoveries, quaint corners and cafés, breathtaking art exhibitions and enjoyable encounters with the people from the region will undoubtedly come to mind.
This is exactly what the “Miróbolous” weekend offers.
After a delicious breakfast and a good night’s sleep, you will discover the centre of Mons, thanks to the Totemus app and its exciting treasure hunt. The day will continue with a trip with friends to the Maison Losseau, and finally the option to discover the exhibition of the famous artist Joan Miró, followed by an aperitif and a show on the terrace of the museum. In the evening, you can attend a rock & roll show, with three exceptional Belgian bands: “About it evening – About Underground Rock”.
The Sunday will be just as exciting as you start with breakfast and move on to a guided tour of the Grand-Hornu, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The afternoon will start perfectly with a chilled glass of fizz at the Chant d’Eole vineyard. You will be able to visit it from 3pm and enjoy a few glasses of sparkling wine.
