In 1988, Steve Reich wrote Different Trains for string quartet and tape in memory of those who were deported to the death camps. Twenty years later, he dedicated WTC 9/11 to the September 11 attacks. Choreographer Isabella Soupart, dancer Shantala Pèpe and the MP4 Quartet confront us with the tragedies that still overshadow our news.
