Mons en Lumières

For 8 evenings, from January 30 to February 2 and from February 6 to 9, from 7:00 PM to midnight, the city center of Mons will be illuminated with around twenty light installations and projections, harmoniously integrated into the urban landscape and historic architecture. Accessible to all and completely free, the route highlights local, national, and international talents. Between Earth and Sky Invited artist: Tadashi Kawamata (Japan) For this edition, the 3 km route will explore the theme "Between Earth and Sky," celebrating the beauty of the natural world and our connection to the universe. Among the featured artists, the renowned Japanese artist Tadashi Kawamata will present a monumental installation in the trees of Place du Parc. His work will highlight the relationship between humans and nature, while seamlessly integrating the urban space and surrounding architecture. Discover the Mons en Lumières program
