“Jazz for kids”
Jazz for everyone!
Three jazzmen cater to children and all fans of jazz. To do this, they’ll be using nursery rhymes. They’ll make sure they respect melodies and get everyone listening, big and small. A generous dose of jazz, full of good energy, to teach and give children a taste of how they can transform a simple melody into a musical gem, by improvising.

Programme:
- 9.30 am: Parent-baby dance journey (Maison Folie) = €5/duo
- 9.30 and 11.00 am: breakdance workshops (Maison Folie) = €5 (6 to 9 year olds)
- 11.00 am: breakdance workshops (Maison Folie) €5 (10 to 12 year olds)
- From 2.00 pm: activities and reading corner, Mons public reading network (Arsonic) = free entrance
- From 2.30 to 3.30 pm: jazz / percussion workshop run by Mr Olivier (Arsonic) = €3 (age 5 and more)
- 4.00 pm: Jazz for kids – Manuel Hermia (Arsonic) = €15/12/9/3 (4 to 9 years)
