Paris - Musée d'Orsay - Montmartre

A former train station is home to the Musée d´Orsay located in downtown Paris on the banks of the Seine. It was built for the World´s Fair in 1900 and is already an artwork in itself. The museum boasts a collection of impressionist works from artists such as Renoir, Monet, Manet, Cézanne and Degas that is without equal. Among the 27 works of Van Gogh is the famous “Starry Night Over the Rhône” painted in Arles and a number of well known works created in Auvers-sur-Oise.
Tip: Take advantage of the combi-ticket offer including the Musée de l´Orangerie on the other side of the Seine that is home to the works of impressionism, late impressionism and the École de Paris.
